People, I give you The Lounge Eggplant. Eggplant is a very lonely vegetable, who likes to go to the lounge and hang around there for a while. This photo is one of the results of a very fun class with ~superox and ~Februar. I hope you guys like it. I'm entering =indiephotographyclub's purple contest with this piece, so I'd love to hear what you think of it.

Calisto ftw.  i love this. i love the way the eggplant is placed in this piece, it gives off a very mellow personality to me x)
there's a lot of negative space is the foreground, and the shadow under the eggplant seems a bit harsh for me. i feel as if there's something missing here : < perhaps a more centered composition? Maybe its just my stylistic approach. Otherwise, good job. This made me smile! btw, Calistro is a beautiful name for an eggplant!! -- i strive i dive its in me its alive Hahahaha thanks a lot for your comment! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
